Dr. Sherry Weaver
Dr. Sherry Weaver is a native Georgian. She worked her way through veterinary school at the University of Georgia and Georgia Tech by working in clinics around Atlanta. In 1992 she graduated from the University of Georgia of Veterinary Medicine where she was inducted into the Phi Zeta honor society. After graduation, Dr. Weaver moved to Woodstock to join a practice as an associate. In 2000, feeling the need to spread her medical wings, Dr. Weaver opened our practice in the community she now called home.
In 2004 she moved her growing staff to the new state of the art hospital she built. Her ongoing goals include current continuing education of her entire staff to keep raising the medical bar for your pets' health care and expanding our services and hours to better serve our clients. It's a labor of love.
Dr. Weaver enjoys volunteering at her children's and other local schools, tending her extensive Bonsai gardens, and boating on Lake Allatoona.
Dr. Amy Gifford

Dr. Amy Gifford joined our practice in 2003. She obtained a BS in biochemistry, then studied at UGA's College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2000. She began working in private practice in the West Cobb area before accepting an associate position with us and moving to Woodstock, making it her home.
Dr. Gifford's' special areas of interest in our practice include orthopedics, repairing difficult bone fractures and ongoing continuing education in Ultrasound technology.
She resides in Woodstock with her husband and two children. The household is completed with puppies Barkley & Dingo and cat Milky.
Dr. Lisa King

Dr. Lisa King joined our growing group in 2008, after directing a practice for 12 years in Alpharetta. A graduate of Auburn University, Dr. King received her Bachelor's Degree in Zoology in 1992 and went on to attend the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1996. Her professional special interests include dentistry and behavior issues.
Dr. King has been involved in numerous civic and professional organizations, including the Atlanta Dog Squad Rescue; Companion Animal Rescue League; Adopt a Greyhound Atlanta; the American Animal Hospital Association; American Veterinary Dentistry Society; the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association.
She lives in Woodstock with her husband, son, Golden Retriever Bo and Siamese cat Meishi. In her off time, you'll find Dr. King curled up with her Kindle or playing Wii and DS with her son and husband.
Dr. Beth Nunn

Dr. Beth Nunn joined us in 2009 and is the newest member of our staff. Originally from Michigan, she received her bachelor's degree in biology from Michigan State University in 2000. She graduated from Michigan State's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Dr. Nunn has been practicing in the area since 2004.
Dr. Nunn's special area of interest is in pain management and animal physical rehabilitation. She is certified in canine rehabilitation through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management.
Married with two young children, she enjoys many outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and gardening. Dr. Nunn is a huge fan of college football and although she is a Spartan at heart, has adopted the Bulldogs as her honorary SEC team. She shares her home with a chocolate lab, Winston and a gray tabby named Toby.
