Dr. Katherine Rivera graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine (Go Gators!) and has been practicing small animal medicine since graduation. 

Prior to earning her veterinary degree, Dr. Rivera received a bachelor’s degree in animal science and a graduate certificate in veterinary forensic science, both from the University of Florida. She is originally from Bradenton, Florida, but Georgia is now home after joining AHTL in 2020! She enjoys being able to practice both general practice and emergency medicine.

On her off days Dr. Rivera enjoys traveling, reading and exploring new hikes and breweries with her two rescue dogs, Rory and June.
