I have 3 siblings, An older brother, older sister and younger sister.

Since I was little, I have been interested in animals and the science behind body functioning. I grew up surrounded by nature and different kind of animals. All that exposure to these beautiful creatures convinced me to study veterinary medicine. I got my bachelor’s degree in Bogota, Colombia from University of La Salle in June 2008. I went to veterinary school for 6 years and went through an acreditación program offered by the AVMA in order to obtain my Veterinarian License in the state of Ga. I moved to the United States after practicing for almost two years in Colombia in order to pursue advanced training in veterinary medicine.

I have always had a special interest in integrative medicine, Surgery and Radiology. I became a certified veterinary MRI technologist Agee years ago while I was working as radiology technician for a specialty clinic in Sandy Springs, GA.

All my pets have been rescued from undesired situations. I am currently down to one dog who is my loyal partner in crime. Her name is Rosie and she is an 11-year-old Labrador mix. We both are happy as family and have plans to visit as many national parks and hiking trails as possible.
